EAT BREAD, PASTA, RICE AND POTATOES
(WHOLE WHEAT, BROWN AND SWEET)
You don’t have to give up bread, pasta, rice or potatoes! Simply switch to whole
wheat or multi-grain bread, whole wheat pasta, brown rice and sweet potatoes.
Unlike the “white” versions of these foods, the whole-grain versions contain fiber.
It’s easy:
• Have your next sub made with a whole wheat roll.
• Make your grandmother’s spaghetti and meatballs with whole wheat pasta.
• They aren’t just for Thanksgiving—you don’t need butter or sour cream on
a flavorful baked sweet potato.
