STRAWBERRY TRIFLE
Need a quick, easy and beautiful desert?
This layered trifle delivers big flavor with
very low fat. Use strawberries, blueberries,
raspberries—whatever’s in season!

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 angel food cake (store bought)
• 2 quarts fresh strawberries
• 16 ounces fat-free whipped topping
• 2 boxes fat-free instant vanilla pudding (large size)
• 6 cups fat-free milk
INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix the instant pudding with the milk using the directions on the package. Dice the angel food cake into
1-inch squares. Wash, cap and slice the fresh strawberries—set a few aside for garnish. Let whipped
topping come to room temperature.
In a glass trifle dish or other tall clear container, layer half of the cubed angel food cake in the bottom.
Then add half of the pudding. Next put a thick layer of strawberry slices followed by a layer of whipped
topping. Repeat layers and garnish with strawberries.
